Sliding Guides
Description:
Sliding guides are linear guides where the carriage and the tracks are not separated by the rolling elements. The level of friction is minimised due to the fact that the tracks within the carriages are coated. Generally speaking, this product is the simplest method to implement linear movements. Despite the coating, the friction co-efficient is higher than when dealing with a re-circulating ball or roller guide.
